Project environment

I have been working on projects for 15 years. On the one hand, I have experience as an engineer and for ten years also as a project manager with direct management of project employees.

I process my orders in matrix organizations with hybrid project management. I enjoy creating something new and overcoming obstacles. With my projects I have brought the companies forward and contributed a part to the company development, just as I was developed by it and gained my experience.

The survey of several hundred ACTUAL processes and the creation of common TARGET processes in a newly formed team, as well as modern documentation for the future, is my current task.

I contribute to the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and led a pilot project for six weeks for the cantonal medical service and for another five months for the IT and the IT team.

The pioneering project was designed for a large canton and enabled the weekly (repetitive) tests for schools and businesses. During my eight-month engagement, we were able to set up the IT and develop it further together with the manufacturer.

Project management up to MCHF 100 for the following project types: strategic high-risk projects, relocated production abroad, licensed production, customer projects, self-financed new developments and offer projects. I have full responsibility for results based on the key figures of sales, contribution margin, liquidity (working capital) and control the entire value chain with responsibility for released budgets. I represent a project externally and internally.

Business model thinking and business models

I graduated in 2014 with the master thesis: Optimization approaches for energy contracting ... completed my MAS in project management and learned what power thinking in business models has. Namely how the success of a project is related to the business model of the company. 

The right projects result from a well-adjusted business model. I support you with a short analysis and see myself as initiator for your projects or to initiate improvements to your project management system.

As a project manager and responsible for the business development of a business area, I had the lead to initiate a company cooperation. Volume: TCHF 500, duration: 1 year. 

I led and conducted contractual negotiations and drafted the contracts in consultation with the legal service. I also developed guidelines for future operations.

As an engineer, I gained consulting experience in a customer project in the field of pharmaceutical sampling management for control and storage logic. Furthermore, in an internet-based insurance requirement check for an insurance company or in browser applications, for example to record working hours. 

Coming from technology, I understand your different contexts of your ICT projects and like to bridge the gap to other specialist departments, For example when it comes to PC and server system software such as MS Windows, Linux and IPv4 networks, software programming or various specialist applications the ICT.

As an OSS / BSS engineer and later project manager for ICT applications, I managed five system solutions with a volume of TCHF 575 over four years. 

As an engineer for VoIP and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), I gained consulting experience in various customer projects for applications, implementations, documentation and training at a retailer in Zurich, for example. Also as an engineer for CTI solutions at a Bern bank or when it comes to introducing new solutions with New Product Introduction (NPI). 

As a system specialist for VoIP and GSM-Rail, I gained project experience when it came to the operation and maintenance of a VoIP platform and the GSM-Rail-Telecom network of the Swiss Federal Railways.

Nobody is perfect

Project assistance or pure project planning are not my areas of application, because it is people who make a project a success.

Training

As a learning enthusiast, I always keep my knowledge up to date for my clients. At the same time, I also like to pass this on as a lecturer at universities. The SVEB course rounds off my knowledge in adult education. I am active in various spm.ch specialist groups and enjoy meeting more experienced project leaders and teachers.
